AirCareGuide.com ("we," "us") takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the site:
- Page-view analytics — aggregate, anonymous data about which pages are visited, how long, and roughly where in the world readers come from. We do not link this to your identity.
- Newsletter email addresses — only if you sign up for our newsletter. We use these to send the monthly briefing. Unsubscribe links are in every email.
- Affiliate click data — when you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (Amazon, etc.) may log the referral. That data lives with them, not us, and follows their privacy policies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers across the site.
- We do not store credit card or payment information — we never take payments directly. All purchases happen on the retailer's site, under their privacy policy.
- We do not share your email address with advertisers, brands, or other sites.
Cookies
We use cookies only for essential site function (remembering you dismissed the sticky CTA, for example) and aggregate analytics. See our cookies policy for the full list.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email us at the address in our contact page and we will respond within 30 days. EU and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to data portability and to opt out of any data sale (which we do not engage in regardless).
Children
AirCareGuide is written for adults making household purchase decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date.
